Stupid Trans ?
Good morning everyone

im sorry if this is the DUMBEST question ever. But, when checking the transmission fluid, does the truck need to be hot or cold and does it need to be running?

Thanx in advance for any help.

Running, warmed up (to operating temp) and insure you shift through ALL gears a few times before checking...
