Steering stablizer really helps lowered front end.

I lowered the front on my 99 3 inches and reall made it feel loose.
I know most of it is bump steer and I will fix that as soon as Ayrton comes out with his kit(please hurry). But it really made it drive much tighter with much less wobble in the steering wheel.

I ordered from Summit the Rancho stablizer and bracket kit (about $80).

Easy to install also.

Try a proper alignment with cam bolts. Bump steer is a problem but not the problem you have. My guess is you have a "toe" issue.

Does anybody have good alignment specs for a 3 inch lowering, is there any special specs?

Sorry I don't have the specs handy. Same as a standard L. Keep in mind the L has a different spec from a standard F150. Try a search I know the info has been posted many times. Cam bolts will be mandatory in order to acheive the proper specs. A twitchy feel is typically a towed out problem. Mine is the happiest with about a 1/16" total toe in.
