Metco KB blower belt pulley system

I stuck mine on toady. I hope it gets rid of the slip. If not I'll have to go to JL's 10 rib system.
That upper is a 2.5" and the lower is a 6lber. 26psi.
The belt is a 68" belt. I do have the tab broke off of the belt tensioner, but I don't think That would be necesary. I also tried the Reichard 3.0" upper and it works fine with the 68" belt.

BTW, there was a lot less noise in the engine compartment after I did this. I think I had some bad bearings in the old pulleys I switched out...I switched out the accessory belt pulleys also. All of the pulleys were 90mm except the one right next to the supercharger belt tensioner. That one was a 100mm and I turned it opposite the direction it was supposed to be because it lined up better with the belt that way.

The most recent best was a 12.22 that Sal ran in my truck at the NMRA event in Bowling Green KY. We had the truck weighed down pretty good with gas, sway bar, stereo, wheels and tires and an extra battery. The truck was so heavy the scales wouldn't read it. Low timing also contributed to the times. I was going to try and get out to the local track tonight. I think It has a high 6 in it with Sals new tune.

By the high 6 I meant in the eighth. We have real tracks down in Tennessee.

maybe stop by your favorite roadside photo locale enroute home from the track and pick a floral arrangement to celebrate the accomplishment?!
