Most of the tuners and related businesses stay as far away from the internet forums as much as possible. It's a shame that it has to be that way, but it does.

For most, this site and other "hobby" sites, come and go. You are interested in the site for a while and then move on to another car or interest. However, the businesses still rely on it for their bread and butter. Therefore they stay away to avoid all of the crap that goes along with bias opinions and general competition.

Pete,

I'm glad thinks are resolved between you and REM. I just hope some remarks and statements that you made did not have an effect on their business and reputation.

You got my number, give me a call.

Way to go Pro! It takes brass ***** to post something like this, especially since people who have nothing involved but their 2 cents like to stand around and take potshots.

Ill tell you something about integrity. I served my country unselfishly for 8 years and through one war and conflict as I have been awarded quite a few medals , which I never speak of. My life was put in my partners hands as was his life put in mine without any hesitations. As long as I live, I dont have to prove anything else to anybody, especially integrity. Ive paid my dues. I am not here to disprove or argue with anybody. Im just trying to move on. My situation is still a total loss with with REM. No deals were made with REM about me making this post. I just figured Id be the better man to post. Bottom line, Ive lost my money. If Paul and Tim want to help me with this dilema, fine. If not, Ill just move on and deal with other people.

Just the cynical lawyer and resident skeptic in me . . .
If they would of said heres your XXXX.XX money back. I would of been happy, no doubt Tim. But I can honestly say that no deals were made.

I'm glad for both parties......I've never met Pete, but he sounds like a very nice guy, and a reasonable customer who only wants what he originally asked for............I've dealt with Paul and Tim, and had nothing but top notch professionalism, friendliness, and an overall desire to help at all times...........I was one of the ORIGINAL REM customers, since Paul was literally working out of his truck.........\

To all those who complain about the last 3 weeks of posts or whatever, you could have very easily clicked on another thread..............everyone has a right to complain about anything and anyone, even if they were at times, over the top.

Doug, by virtue of being moderator, you have a higher level of strictness that you should adhere to..........It is very cynical to ban people for posting "inappropriate images", etc, yet you come on here and bash Pete for 3 weeks of "whining" or whatever, with your sarcastic comments. If you didn't like it, you could have done the RIGHT THING, by ignoring it, or emailing him OFFLINE about it, or done your assenine typical thing of banning the guy simply for sharing his experiences.

Take my comments for what they're worth. I'm sure the "mindless soldier from Florida" comment is stirring in your head...............please come up with something original!

JC
