Question Painint upper plenum/heat question

I will be paining my upper plenum. If i use a heat resistant primer, then paint/powdercoat (not sure which yet), will there be heat dissapation problems that anyone knows of ? i want to make sure of cooldown between runs, and am not quite sure if heat resistant paints and primers will cause heat to be RETAINED rather than released. i am also going to install phenolic spacer in near future, so this may be a moot point. any comments would be welcome

thanks in advance

I have a powdercoated upper plenum, and had a painted one before that, and never noticed any problems in reference to heat retention. The spacer will obviously help with that as well.
