I give you marks you have bigger ***** than I. I was too worried about the "what if's" - ordered the 28x10x16's the other day. If I end up increasing hp a great deal then I will chance the 15's, but I think the 16's should work well for my set up now.

Great photo's and post!

D-Day

Ive got probably 2,000 miles or so on my modified calipers... Including a few "panic stops" and a bunch of power-breaking burnouts (no line lock....yet)

Still holding up just fine.

Am I scared? Yep! I take a peak everytime the wheels come off to see if they are getting any stress-cracks... so far so good

Three Years, Three Lightnings, 50K+ Miles later...

My modified calipers transferred from truck to truck are still working fine. Literally hundreds of passes down the 1320 running Goodyear Eagle 29.5 x 10 x 15" slicks on JDM chrome custom steel wheels. Absolutely no problems.
I picked up some new 30" Hoosier radial slicks and ordered some new wheels at the Drag Race Expo a few weeks back.
My old wheels/tires will be going in the classifieds shortly.

Nice pictures, Chris!

Me too. I've managed several 1.5x 60's so far. Shooting for a couple 1.4x's this season. These tires hook great.

That's where I bought mine from. They were $205 each when I bought mine. Worth every penny though.

Hopefully the MT drag radials will be worth. I'm still under 500whp so they should handle it.

I've heard good things about those. There are a few guys that have traded in their ET Streets for em.

Call Tom direct and he can take care of you......Tell him you got the number from Mike out of Houston. I ran the first ones off the press when they found out that L owners were looking for the 30" tire........mine BTW are 14.5" and are HB11 compound. I just got a new set Saturday. It is great dealing with him, and can get the tires to you quick. Just remember he is not one of the sales people, but is one of the head honchos.

330-337-3062......this is the number to his desk.
