Mike,

I am running a 3.20 on top and 9.25 bottom. I actually saw 17lbs of boost before I put on the long tubes, high flow cats and Magna flow - but I lost a lb due to the better flow (I believe) - at least it is more efficient.

I still have a stock bottom, so I am a little nervious going into the 500+ range, but my tuner said with my current set up and the new injectors I could count on 530 hp range.

Personally, with the Nitto 555R's I have been able to almost master my launches - I wonder if an extra 40 hp is going to be more of problem on launch or more of a benefit. You know, at what point do our L's become really difficult to launch regarding hp levels??? (on the street)

I certainly wish you success with the new injectors and will be curious as to your results!

Good Luck

Just curious, but is Justin at J&J doing your testing?

saleensc,

No, I decided to head across the alley to REM in Margate. REM did most of my part installs and I started with a tune there, but ended up in a group Lightning tune in Miami with Willie Figueroa (Performance Tuner for Diablo) - in my opinion he is awesome!

Locally I have found another performance shop I trust, Mustang Motorsports the owner (and sole mechanic) is Chris Olmo - very trustworthy and he works with Willie.

If you want any numbers let me know.

Actually I'm heading to J&J right know to do my base run. I am close friends with Justin. I have met Chris as well. If you have one of his cards, That is an identical saleen to the one I just sold two weeks ago. I have a 99 that I have not made any changes to what-so-ever. As a matter of fact it was the first Gen 2 in Lee county. I ordered it 8 months prior to production from Bartow ford. Got it a full month ahead of them arriving at Langford and Galloway Ford. It was lonely around here for a while but I am seeing more and more. We'll have to get together. BTW, I was EATONPONIES when this board started if any of you old timers remember.

Sweet ride man, the SVTOA club meets every second Tuesday of the month at Galloway Ford in the service dept. 6:30-7:00. Let me know if you'll be there.

So at this current time you have the stock pumps and injectors? I have long tubes and a full exhaust also. I have the blower pullied for around 18 right this second, with a single blade TB and extrude honed plenum. I could expect the WOT being a problem but I was not expecting part throttle problems at all.
Thanks Mike

I actually have replaced the stock pumps and changed to two 255 lb high flow cobra pumps, but you're right I have the stock injectors.

That is very strange (from what I know) that you would be having problems outside of WOT.

I expect my L to get stronger as time passes. I only have 2000 miles on her and everyone has told me that our engines tend to show more power as they break in.
