Does anybody here know of a company called svtcustoms.com???? I ordered 2 Supercharged Emblems from this guy named Lee on August 29th and still have not recieved them to date! Next Monday will be exactly one month since I placed my order and I have not gotten anything to date. This Lee guy emails me last week stating he mailed them out to me, but they never got here and I seriously doubt they were ever shipped. How many of you know this guy and is he for real, meaning is this a real business or is he just taking people's money and not shipping anything to his customers?? Thanks for any and all replies!

 

I search the web for everything, cant say I have seen that site in magazines or online, I know am sort of new here, but I hate that more people dont reply to threads

I've purchased several items from them in the past, and they have always been top notch. Products have been high quality as well.

 

Terry post on NHTOC but I know he has had some serious health issues lately...in and out of the hospital. Several guys have ordered from him without issue.

 

i ordered from and received my lightning garage banner.

only problem was the "SVT" part was missing.

i e-mailed Lee and he quickly forwarded 2 copies of the missing letters.

seems he's not perfect but at least he's honest

 

I ordered the lightning parking only sign, some domed emblems, and got some free 12 sec decals from him earlier this year with no problems.

Terry at svt.customs.com did return my messages last night and has since refunded my money for the Emblems we did not recieve. Hope this helps, as whenever someone even orders from our company, a timely delivery is to be expected, but in this case it never came to us period. Hope this helps, as a lesson learned here by all.

 

I ordered some stuff from him with no issues. Health issues would explain it though. Nothing is as important as your health and if anyone has ever been really sick, they will understand.

 

I ordered some emblems from him a month ago and the shipping was delayed. I emailed him and he thought they already shipped so he shipped "again" and I received them a few days later. I was concerned also however, the badges are top notch.

But, you had problems and never received the item you ordered.
After headaches/time you got a refund. (You lost your time which means you lost money) I have purchased items from the svtcustoms.com (Terry) and both times had issues. First time an empty envelope arrived at my residence. Apparently , Terry just threw the $30+ emblem in a regular envelope with no protection, etc. and put it in the mail.. The friggin thing fell out. Took me a couple of long distance phone calls ($) to get that situation squared way. Two or so weeks ago I ordered a shroud decal with my build # and such. I called Terry about doing a shroud decal for L guys.. and he was jazzed about doing them for me and others. Why not, $40+ to Terry.
I was the first to order of a few and never got mine. I called Terry twice and he said he mailed it and it must have gotten lost. He agreed to send another which I did finally receive. In the last two weeks I have had a few emails from guys asking where their $40+ shroud decal was as it never arrived.... I gave them Terry's phone number. (which conveniently is not listed on his business website and he knows this cause I told him twice) I'm not sure if anybody got burn't so to speak on those shroud decals. Whatever the reason, the vendor is dropping the ball so to speak. Geeez, even a simple email from the vendor saying he was behind for whatever reason would be part of good customer service. For the record Terry seems like an aok guy and is good about correcting problems for what that is worth.

 

I went to high school with Terry in the late 70's (he married the sister of one of my best friends). I always thought he was a little shady back then. That was a long time ago, but I would still be suspicious today. But I hate to hear that he is in bad health -- he wasn't a total jackass or anything, we just never saw eye to eye.

I have bought from SVT customs 3 times in the past and was very happy with the quality and delivery time. Last month I ordered the shroud decal package and they never showed. After emailing Terry yesterday, He replied back today and needed my build info again, apologized and said that he would ship out another set.
