Doug can you split this thread into a "SVT Customs" thread that has served its purpose and a "fun with JJ" thread that seems to have some fun left in it?

Nozebleedspeed and I stopped by Terry's house earlier this year on the way to a NASCAR race for a few beers. He was a great guy, and showed us his very impressive sign printing place. He does all the vehicle signage for the police, ambulance and other rescue vehicles in his area (a few stopped by to check out the trucks).

Anyways, I agree that shipping the badges in regular envelopes is a crappy way to do it. I don't know his circumstances, but there's no excuse for not returning your calls and e-mails for a month. Sorry you had bad service, I've never ordered from him but his buisness is legit.

I ordered the fan shroud decal, took an excessive amount of time to get with no communication from him (wouldnt return e-mails) and when I did get it, the build number was wrong---an obvious type-o, he printed out 2906 instead 2096. No real big deal but I have repeatedly e-mailed him since then to see if he would send me a corrected one with no response! I know it was an accident but for a $40 dollar decal youd think I could get a replacement! It would be nice for him to acknowledge the fact that mine were messed up and attempt to fix the problem.

Suggest you contact Terry, the owner, of svtcustoms.com via telephone. (843-215-5403) Let him know there was a typo on your shroud decal and he will send you a correct decal. No, he does not respond to his emails unfortunately.. As for myself I will avoid dealing with svtcustoms.com in the future if possible.
Ordering from them is just to iffy...

in regards to the envelope shipping, i was a little upset when I say the shipping was $2.17 or something and he charged $12.00 for the shipping. IMO that was some bs.

A lot of guys over at NHTOC have ordered stuff from him and I've never heard any complaints... Often reports of extra freebies and stuff, though. I guess a couple of orders got messed up, but overall, I think he has been very stand up in his biz... or at least from what I have seen.

I've done business with him many times, and have always enjoyed quick turn around and a quality product.

At one point I suggested to him that the 03 Cobra crowd may be something to explore. He immediately jumped in and designed several test overlays working with me for measurements. he put together several examples of which he sent me a few.

I have one attached to the rear emblem of my 03 and it looks great. I know a few 03 owners who have been a bit unhappy with the adhesive not holding on some of thier installs, but I feel some of that is related to the installer and the way they prepped the surface.

Quite frankly, I don't care if he makes a few bucks on the shipping. He is manufacturing a product that has a small market base and is something I can't make myself or buy from Pep Boys. I'm not going to begrudge him a profit.

Hey Mark, how goes it??

I have emailed Terry a few times in an attempt to order a fan shroud decal, but got NO reply.
Just gave up.

I'm really interested in the decal, do you suggest that I continue my efforts and hope for the best??

Not sure which way to advise you, my friend. I've not spoken with him for some time, and by what I read here, that may be difficult right now. I'll make some tries myself and let you know what I find out. Somewhere I have a couple of numbers he gave me,
