FFW Weekend Champ Jody North
I want to be the first to congratulate Jody North who is now the 2003 JDM tough Truck Champion for 2003.
I am happy I got to meet him this year and he is a very deserving champ. We got to race 2 ellimination rounds, I took him out in Ohio, but he took me out at my home track(New England Dragway) He is a class act and races fair, no staging games or any of that crap. Even after I beet him in Ohio he was the first one to offer assistance getting my truck ready for the next round.
I also want to congratulate Charles Crawford who ended up as runner up in the tough truck class. He is also a stand up guy and would have been a deserving champion if Jody had not won.
For all that are wondering how paul did, he slipped a litttle in the last few rounds and ended up in 4th place. I was pulling for Paul since we have been friends for a few years, and I am sure he will be back stronger than ever next season.
I am going to try to make a few more events next year. I learned a lot about bracket racing this year, but still have a lot to learn.
It was a fun series, I got to meet a ton of great people and hope to meet many more next year.

awesome
i agree Don, got to meet both of them at FFW at Epping this year. If you guys are ever in the Atlanta outskirts, these are two guys you might want to look up. They sure seem like they could show you a good time down in GA. Congrats again!!
