Cool Dyno Tuned in Dayton, OH ... awesome

Made the trip to Dayton yesterday- and thanks fot Kenb's quick email responses; was able to make it to the tune.

I was the last (but not least) to be tuned that night. Let me say they went the extra mile for me and didn't think twice about it!.

To keep the story short (if possible): Strap the beast down and first pull is EXTREMELY LEAN. Now I know that many people(s) have run extra boost (myself is 4 over stock=13-14 total) with NO CHIP and they still run pig rich. Well- I was 14 a/f !! Something was not right. After turning the fuel full blast- still nothing. Trip to store for fuel filter didn't help. Turned out the hi/lo fuel pump relay was bad! Our 1hr tune session turned into almost 2 hours (maybe longer)... it was dark when I left. These people didn't ever think twice about whether it was going to work out or not

I'm pumped about the new software- since no chip was installed.. only the computer reflashed. I wasn't expecting that... pretty cool.
So with the lean condition- I was pulling 359/465
After fixing and tuning- I turned 404/485 on an EXTREMELY conservative tune.
Props to some of the coolest peoples around
The big question is what shape are my plugs in? How long has it been lean? I was just at the track two weeks ago!- ran 13.5 @ 103.5mph (no traction). best to day is 12.97 @ 105.5
So much for being a 'short' post!
The beast pulls like a rabid b!tch wh@re! Just in time for LFest (thanks goodness!)
peace,
John
