Better than a Works or a Ken Belle, and cheaper too!

Took a tranny to the shop to be tested today (it's on the way Jeremy) and there was a Contour there with the riciest supercharger I've ever seen.

The car was totally riced, one of the worst hatchet jobs I've ever seen, but the tech told me to look at the motor.

This is true, I wish I had a picture....

The guy had a vaccum cleaner motor hooked into his intake, just above the MAS, and a little mercury switch on the TPS so when he went WOT, the mighty kirby (or was it an Oreck, I don't know) kicks in....

I only wish I could meet this engineering genius.

Ken Belle? Works Power? Eaton? Nah mano, thats a HOOVER!!!!

Air compressor

We've talked about using compressed air. The short answer is: no, it won't work.

Mickey Thompson had a fuel funny car in the early 70s with 2 giant oxygen bottles and no supercharger. It had a regulator on the bottles. The tech people got nervous and the car was parked after very few runs. I think that it was driven by Jake Johnson. Last I heard the car was parked in a wholesale hardware wherehouse in Long Beach Ca. Skip
