Anybody install Hotchkis springs? I got a question

I had a make shift drop before hand (3" JLP shackles and 2" Belltech)

I have now the "Original" 1/2 Hotckis suspension & new sway bars. I didn't recieve the thin front coil pad. So I reinstalled the stock coil pads. The truck sits almost stock height up front. The rear is fine. I now have the same space from wheel to fenderwell. Should I take out the coil pads? Is it worth the effert? Will it drop the truck in the front a little more? Wes at Hotckis says I don't need them, I've had this suspension in and out so many times!!!!

The endlinks for the front sway bars are just as long as the stock ones, is this right?

With the stock rubber pad it will sit at stock hight, the Hotchkiss pas is what gives it the lower stance.

I don't know if you need them or not, it is a pritty wimppy looking rubber pad, only about a 1/4 inch tall

Hmmm. I have the Hotchkis kit also, I installed it back in March. I dont remember what I did, I think I reused the stock pads. I dont remember mine coming with thinner pads.

Well, I have some time to kil this week. I guess I'll just remove the pad and reinstall the spring in the upper socket. I need to get the QA1's on the truck so I have some wrenching to do. What shocks are you guys running? I heard that Hotchkis is developing with Bilstein a tuned shock for the TVS system.

I used the pads that came with the front springs, Don's description is very accurate of them. They're really only a little peice of rubber.

As far as Hotchkis coming out with tuned bilstien shocks, well ...... I heard that when I put the springs on about 2 years ago.
