Same thing happened to me the other day. I was driving my 03 down the street, and came up behind an 02 or 01, red, and switched lanes. I rolled up next to him, window down, and honked a couple of times. He never looked. Just gave it a little gas and pulled away. I just stomped on it and gave him ole one finger as I went by. I guess he caught the "I have a Lightning everyone else is crap" syndrome.

I haven't been close enough to an L for quite some time, as there are few around here. I did follow a nice black L dropped to the ground on some big rims (not as big as mine though ) at Roswell square. He noticed me, nothing rude. Sometimes I see this guy from school with a DSG and always get one.

Harley owners are cool though (most of them atleast). They almost always wave back, and one was half way out the car waving.

 

Around here, most of the guys with Ls are pretty cool. Even the guys with cobras are nice. Just yesterday I was out with a few friends, we were playing with RC boats. He noticed the boat from the other side of the water and walked over. As he was walking up I noticed he was wearing a DiabloSport shirt. We were talking about the boat for a while. He was up at a hotel from LA. Then before he left I asked what kind of car he drives, he said 03 cobra. So we started talking about our SVTs for a while and turns out he posts over at SVTperformance.com . If I go down to LA for FFW ill probably be hookin up with him. Cool guy.

Thats the kind of people that make good names for SVTs. People that will talk to you just because you own an SVT. Its the guys that wont even acknowledge (sp?) you because they are pissed that you have the same car as them Whatever...to each his own
