About to have boost again!!!!!
About to have boost again!!!!!
Kinda O/T, but we're all car enthusiasts, especially supercharged ones, so here goes.
Well, I missed the blower whine so much, I couldn't stay away. No, I'm not supercharging the Mach 1, but I'm replacing my daily driver (see sig and don't laugh) with a '93 Thunderbird SC. It's black on black, automatic tranny, right around 60K miles, 10% overdrive pulley, custom Magnaflow exhaust with Dumps, Ported MAF, plenum, and intake manifold, the obligatory K&N filter, and a bunch of parts replaced in the engine. It needs a paint job REALLY bad, and needs a replacement driver's seat, as well as some AC work. The good thing on the latter is, that the AC Compressor and evaporator is shot on my '89, but everything else is in good working order. Luckily, both the compressor and evaporator are ok on the new '93, so I'll simply be doing a lot of swapping in the AC system, plus a recharge. Other than that it's flawless. With under $2500, i got myself a legitimate ricer-eater which should run a mid to high 14, and should keep me smiling daily when I'm not driving the Mach 1.
I guess I'll be blown daily!!!

It may not be the coolest ride on the street, but it will look fairly well with a little work. Even if it never looks good it will be worth it to see the look on those ricers face when you blow their doors of.

This weekend is my girl's birthday, and I'm going down to Homestead to pick up the SC...............I'm pretty sure next week I'll be there?
BTW, are you going to Ford Power Fest in October? If you are, you should also think about the Steeda Stampede caravan, from STeeda Motorsports, up to Moroso..................Hopefully I can have 2 cars in the caravan, we'll see.
