Talking wow fun time at the dyno

i just pick up my L from the dyno to get a little tune up. there were about 8 other nice cars and trucks there, but the best part was watching a L with the kenne bell on it. WoW did that thing make some power and hurt my ears 2. the guy that owns the red L is on this board real nice guys but i forgot the name. sorry. the truck made at least 580+ hp and 650+trq from what i remember. it was a cool experiance. just thought i would share.

Awesome numbers!

It is pretty exciting watching your L crank it up on the dyno. Stand next to one with long tubes, high flow cats - that exhaust just blows you away. Most expensive leaf blower in town.

D-Day

it was at a dyno shop called dyno daves, the guy does really great work on all cars and trucks. oh yeah i forgot to mention that the lighting with the kb on it had a great exhaust system and when they were measuring the a/f they had to use a cement block to hold the the measuring tool in place. it almost knocked the cement block down my face was like

WhtSvt, thanks for the kind words - that was my father's (Canadian Bolt's) '01 L. It was nice chatting with you guys.

For those that weren't there, we were having Jerry (Fordchip.com) retune the truck after installing the KB. The exhaust system consists of Kooks L/T's, high-flow cats and dual 4X9 Magnaflows with an X-pipe.

We were pretty impressed with the #'s for still having stock heads and cams. The truck is crazy on the street at 20 lbs.

Thanks to Dyno Dave for fitting us in and especially to Jerry at Fordchip for the tune. This guy really knows his stuff when it comes to tuning Fords.
