Wooooweeee!!!!

Just dropped a K&N filter and did the zip tie thing where you take out the bottom half of the box and sit it sideways and did the boost bypass i know its not much as of now but that damn supercharger screams way louder than before and i can feel a diference when at WOT. Next......90 mm and a chip and pulley!!!!

FINALLY WAKING THE SLEEPING BEAST EH?

one thing, with the 90mm MAF, you will REQUIRE a chip to calibrate the a/f ratio,
If not, you will run Incredibly lean and risk burning a hole in the piston.

I drove like that for 3 days and my tuner was PISSED!
he said I was extremely lucky, my A/F ratio was extremely lean.

I assume you have a '99 or '00 Lightning!
;01-present came with 90mm MAF.

You will need the Boot to fit the 90mm MAF to the throttle body, your 80mm will NOT stretch.
at least mine didn't.

I HAD TO EDIT AND DRAW ATTENTION THAT THIS IS MY 420 POST.

I differ on the opinion of the chip being mandatory with 90MM mass air. I drove my truck with a 4lb pulley 90MM Mass Air and air filter. I drove it like that for 2 months in temperature ranging from 30 degrees to 80-90 degrees. Had no pinging AT ALL. When i added the chip thats when the truck started pinging like crazy. Also, i ran a 13.4 w/o the chip and 13.3 with the chip. What do you guys have to say about needing the chip???

Lucky

I say you're lucky because 13.3 AND 13.4 are WAY to lean to be safe.

HP accurate?

And btw. Are you really seeing 360HP with a 4lb pulley? That seems REALLY low.

I'm making around 450hp/500tq with my 4lb pulley (I've done pretty much everything except internal engine work).
