anyone cut some holes on their stock air box? i cut 2 holes about half the size of my fist and it picked up some power/boost and the supercharger is louder now, sounds so sweet. does anyone have that procedure on how to bypass the boost drop in between shifts?

Welcome aboard!!

Opening the airbox up will net approx. 1# of boost. My tuner told me to just remove the bottom and wire tie a k&n to the top.
Pic here.

It's not the prettiest but works very well. The whine is much
louder.

boost by-pass to keep from dropping boost is an easy one, unplug it. If you mean the 2-3 shift reduction bypass
You will need a chip.

I did a search for you. Readthis--all the way down and you will see a pic. Read what PSP/Sal says........ Mine has been disconnected for many miles--no problems.
