8 is really overspinning if you ask me, you could get away with it but there are no promises. i have a 6 on my daily driver and im perfectly happy. i think you should probably look in other places for power.

I just went from 6#s to 8#s. What I noticed was more bottom end, it pulls much better. Mine isnt a daily driver though, but as long as youre not into the boost all the time I think you would be ok.

Six Lightnings I know here in South Florida run the 6# and 2# combo for over a year, no problems. But if it were me Id run just the 6# to be safe.

How long have you been running your 6#? I have really been thinking of going with the 4# but I know just as sure as I put it on I'll wish I would have went with a 6#. Have you noticed any detonation? Sorry for all of the questions but I'm just itching to throw one on and mine is a daily driver as well. Hell it's the only transportation I have. I have the FTVB and PSP FastAir so I think I'm ready for the pulley. Just a little nervous.

Thanks,
Todd

I run mine daily with a 6lber, and it runs great! I just put it on the dyno the other day and put down 400hp and 507 lbs of torque. Needless to say I'm very happy!
