Help Help Help!!!

I just changed my plugs and took her for a quick spin. All seemed well so I came home let her sit for a few then got ready to leave. Pulled to the end of the driveway and she started shaking and sounded like she was going to stall. What should I do? I'm desperate right now for anyone to answer please???

Double check your coil pack and injector plugs. Sounds like one wasn't seated properly and came off.

should the coil pack move from side to side if you push and pull on them? I tightned the 7mm bolts pretty tight but they still can be pushed/pulled. All the plugs seem to be seated properly. Should I pull all the coil packs??? I should mention that when I pulled one of the coil packs, the spring did not come out with the pack so I twisted it back on the inside of the pack and put the rubber boot back on before installing. Would this make a difference?

Well I checked all the injectors and coil pack plugs, they seem to be set ok. She idles smooth and runs okay but then, when the rpms drop a little while idleing, she shakes a little. Could this be because of the plugs I installed? I installed Autolites becuase no one around here carries the NGK's nor did the dealers in my area have any motorcrafts. I gapped then at .44 as reccomended from autolite.

Any suggestions? I'm really worried here.

I put Autolites on my 99 years ago, the truck ran file, but idled rough as well.

How rough? Enough that you could feel it shake at idle? That's what it feels like. It idles smooth, then rpms' drop a little and now it's shaking like you can feel it in your back and the mirror is vibrating a little. Do you think this is normal?

The metal spring should clip firmly to the bottom of the coil. Then slid the rubber boot up to snap into place on the bottom of the coil.

I did as you said, thanks for the reply. I just can't believe that these plugs idle this rough. If so, then I'm going to have to order some new ones and change them. Hopefully it will go better next time. Anyone else use the autolites? 103's i believe

Right, and don't forget that the rubber boot just snaps on and off the coil. And yes, it was rough enough that I thought something was wrong.

In that case, what do you suggest I go with for a stock truck? I would like to add a air kit and possibly a chip and #4 sometime in the future but for now I'm bone stock. Can I order the plugs from you? How long did you run the Autolites? I just don't like the feeling

TR6s for a stock truck, I have them in stock, you can order right through our site. I took the autolites out after two days.
