Which rear end lube???

OK guys I open up my ford mauel and it says 75-140 synthetic. I open up my svt manual and it says 80-90 premium. I go with the svt manual. The parts guy says Noooooooo! Dude, you'll trash your rear end in a week! Check the axle! So we go look at the axle and it says 75-140 synthetic. WTF Over????? I went with the 75-140, but did I make the right choice????

Also, what is the part # for the blower oil, and how much to add?

I've ran Mobil one synthetic 75-90 for over 30K miles so far. I don't have any problems so far.

75-140 and a bottle of Friction Modifier is best.

Is there a reason why? Why does Ford specify 80-90 in the SVT handbook? Has JDM conducted tests or is this an opinion?

This was obviously a trick question. Lets look at what he ask.

What rear end lube?

What blower oil?

Sorry but these questions struck me funny as Hell
If I did not know better I would have thought I logged on to the wrong message board.

Ya, always a funny guy out there, huh???

I was serious, and thanks Justin for the info. And was that you I talked to about the tranny fluid? You guys answer the phone so fast I can never tell who you are!!!!!

Oh, and easter...The f150manual and the actual axle tag say 75-140. Now I trusted the svt manual, BUT I trust what the actual dif tag says the most!

Bingo! I had the same conflicting information from the manuals and the rearend tag. I then called SVT and talked to 2 people. The first guy was not sure and the second said to go with 75-90. I too have had no problems with that weight oil... Mobil 1..
