Question 160 or 170 which one?

There has been a lot of discussion about which thermostat to use, which one are you using and where in America do you live? I'm putting in a e-fan and want to do the thermostat at the same time but having a tough time making up my mind (160 or 170) because I live in south Florida.

I have heard that the 160 is better for us, but Im sure the 170 will also do plenty of good if you want to go that rout

I have heard that in some cases a 160 will set a MIL with an undertemp code. I think I have decided to go with a 170.

Been running a 160 for a long time now and it is a noticable difference and it never has coded me for undertemp, you still get full heat in the winter too

160, works great for me, I am in Fort Myers Florida. Summers are in the low 90's and winter's in the low 60's, brrrr that's cold.

I sell both the 160 and the 170 therms. If you are running an electric fan kit I would suggest the 160.

With the electric fan it will still allow the truck to warm up durring every day driving but at the track the 160 thermostat will keep the truck cooler.
