'04 Cobra wheels / paint L's the same

I saw an '04 Cobra at the local dealership today. It had wheels painted like the '03 L but the color appeared to be Dark Shadow Grey. My sons and I agreed that to paint the wheels of my '03 Dark Shadow Grey's wheels would give my truck a fantastic look. You have to see these Cobra wheels! Do you think I could easily and not to expensively have the wheels on my truck painted (now stock silver) powdercoated that color AND have them come out looking factory and as decent as the Cobra's?

From what I have seen and heard, if you get it powdercoated by a good powdercoating company, they will look flawless and factory.

They are just 01 rims powder coated. The centers are painted. Here is a shot of the whole truck. Hope you like.

You saw an '04 Cobra today???

That's hard to believe since I think they just started building them on September 2nd (two days ago).

I think you saw an 10th anniversary special edition '03 Cobra.

Either way, yes you could get your wheels painted or powdercoated in that color.

I know what you mean, I like it too.

sometimes I actually like it when the wheels on my truck get all covered in brake dust, I think they look pretty tough in that dark grey color.

later,
chris

Nice wheels 415!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, like Superfords said, you did not see an 04 Cobra at the dealer today. You saw an 03 Anniv Cobra. Even then the wheels aren't as dark as 415's or mine. Sorry, -Mat-
