Question Question for all you Cecil County regulars.

What days do you usually go racing>??? Does anyone go on Saturdays>??? If so, how are the crowds>??? How many runs do you usually get in>??? It doesn't look like I will get to run at Englishtown for a few weeks and I would really like to get some runs in with the new setup. What are the rules at Cecil regarding cages>??? Is it 11.99 or 11.49>??? Thanks in advance for any help and if anybody wants to watch me hopefully do some 11sec passes let me know. Thanks, -Mat-

Will you be running with your fog lights on? j/k

Sorry man, couldn't resist. Gotta admit though, you got a lot of peoples attention on that post. Hopefully more good than bad came from it.

Talking

LoL! I know what ya mean. Seems like a lot of people got mad at me over that thread. No biggy though. I am still gonna sleep tonight.

I just saw on the Cecil website that it is "Street car shootout and Pro mods" this Saturday. Does that mean I can't run on my slicks>??? -Mat-

Mat,

I have only been to Cecil on saturdays myself and the track was always good.

11.99 or lower needs cage. I ran a few 11.90s and they did not say anything but Jonny AC busted out some 11.7s(I think) and they were all over him. They even followed him back to the pits.

Matt read my post in the NELO section of nloc....I will never go back to cecil again! They stopped me about 20 ft behind the burnout box and let the pro mods go. Oh wait....thats the CECIL OWNED pro mod. He proceeded to do his burnout before he got to the box (read 10 feet from my hood) I litterally ducked with my helmet on as rocks, rubber, and the cigerrete butts from the ahole track official (he was chain smoking and tossing the butts in the burnout box). All in all it wasn't too bad....I mean really, my front end needed repainting anyway, and I have comprehensive, so my newly shattered windshield was fixed for free (though it still howls) And they were nice enough to let me run down the track even after that d!ick broke my windshield. Cecil can suck my white knuts!!!!!!

Cecil is okay. We either go on Wed or Saturday. Wed night they have a test and tune and most of the time its not packed. Saturday is good, but it can get busy quick.

Cecil isn't a bad track but sometimes they do let the burn out area and surrounding area get pretty trashy. Next Wed. they have a test and tune that I am going to try and make. No 11's from my truck though.
