Newbie questions....!

Hey Guys.......

I hopefully am a future Lightning owner and have a few questions!

First of all are the chips in the truck flashable? How does the burning chip process work?

Second: is it possible to have and what are the mods that are necessary to create a streetable low 12 second truck?

and finally: Are you guys having any problems with high milage lightnings? I guess a better question is how many miles before you need to start thinking about a rebuild?

Thanks for any info,
Chris

Yes the chips are re-burnable...I drive my truck almost every day, and it is a mid to low 12 second truck with just bolt-ons.. I know of a couple of guys on this forum that are running close to 100k miles, and don't think that any of them have had any major problems....You said you may be a future L owner....I may consider selling...01, black, modded, bedrug, cosole mod, 30k miles....

mrinaldi......
Sounds awsome.....that's what I was hoping .....a mid 12 second daily driver that can go 100k miles.....I wish I could get into a truck soon but unfortunately I have an 89 superchargered notchback I have to unload first. But I will definately keep you in mind if things materialize. Thanks for the input.......keep it coming

Thanks,
Chris

Mid-low 12's are very doable with a street driven L.

6# pulley
Chip
Filter
electric fan (maybe)
Slicks

That will get you mid 12's in good air.

I'm working on busting into the 12's on F-1's, but have a little ways to go. Can't wait for the cool fall air.
