102 Mass Air/Power tube by REM

If you guys have checked out my 112 install you noticed the new tube. The mass air sensor is in the tube so it's a nice clean design. They have a variety of colors so check them out (Red is my favorite)

Does the 102mm maf add any performance over the 90mm ones. I heard that anything over the 90MM was unnecessary

Anyone with a hair dryer blower ( Works & KB ) will easily spike the stock MAF in due time once they sort out their fuel requirements and raise the boost.

I believe there is a market for a larger MAF. However, i feel that new calibrated electronics need to go into the larger unit. Otherwise, youre just mimicing what C&L does with a large mouth and a different sample tube to match injector size.

That does look trick though

I had one on mine.....had issues-stumbled off idle......never tuned with it though.....went back to my 90mm...... GMS mass airs have electronics in them and only claim a 15 hp increase....

Looks great, does it allow the air filter to reach the fender port?

When are you getting the carbon add on's?

I saw some on Saturday and they looked awesome!

Dan, the ones you seen were just replacements for the rubber inlet tube up to the mass air...these are similar but they replace your mass air too.....

Pete, for all of us KB owners our KB warranty is out the window if we have an air flow system that only draws engine compartment air.

That's why I went with the JLP version, even though I really like the REM tube. If it (the filter) reaches the fender port then KB will accept it.

Yeah, the REM tube will work fine with your JLP setup, it works on my PSP fast air setup which is similar to yours......

i think they are about the same, mostly i think JL made one so that his customers could use a tube like that with his airbox. they are both pretty much for looks.
