Sold the L for a Mach 1

Well all, it has been real fun for the past 18 months, but I must inform you that I unloaded my 2000 L and purchased a new Dark Shadow Grey Mach 1. Maybe one day I will again have an L. Let's wait and see what's in store for the next Gen.

BTW, I have some take-off parts if anyone is interested:

You should have called me. I would have have pulled that KB in an hour and reinstalled an eaton for you plus cash... My father needs a KB. He'd never know I stuck one on his truck.

VinniePSVT: I'm glad I just came by one of your posts.... your lightning is the reason I got mine... When I was trying to convince my parents to let me sell my camaro and their ram for a new lightning they said "what is a lightning?!" and I went online and searched for pics and printed out 4 pics.... they liked yours!

just wanted to thank ya. hehehe

Thanks a lot Red03SVT, and congrats on your new truck. Keep it clean and drive it like ya stole it.

BTW- If you've got any Q's about anything, I think you'll find this board to be an invaluable resource.

Not you too Vin?

After my shameless defeat by an F150 at saturday's car show, one with a drop, chrome dubs, and 4 10's under the backseat, I went shooppping for an unloaded thunderform.

I got almost no points for my interior, engine, wheels, groud effects, etc... since they are stock lightning parts.

I still won't put chrome 20's on my truck though.

I'm already finding it quite valuable. I'm still trying to get to know how this motor, etc works. I'm quite familiar with the LS1, and even decently familiar with the NA cobras (my dad had a 99 cobra)...but this whole ford supercharged thing is quite interesting/new to me

thanks again man for having a clean truck. you made my parents fall in love with the L's. my dad though an L was a silverado, and when I showed them 4 pics from your gallery, my mom's response: "good GOD that's a sexy lookin truck!"

I don't know what kind of trade they gave him, but I heard the truck was goping for $18,800 plus tag title and license.
Traction bars, chip, KB, KB 3" upper, valve body, lower pulley, 4.10 gears...did it have an efan?
