Gentlemen,

That goofy looking guy in the posted "Miami Max" picture, left corner, that's me - there's a big smile on that mug of mine for a reason - let me explain........

Before I get into the numbers let me clarify something. I have one dyno meter, it is the most accurate I know of, and its called "Dan's seat of the pants" dyno. And I am refering to how your beast hits the road and how far she sets you back. Numbers on paper - they can be impressive, but I rely on performance.

Mustang Dyno Numbers Before (beg. of Aug) :

HP 411
Torque 507

Miami Max Dyno Numbers after:

HP 496
Torque 562

a/f = 12.6

The only thing holding me back from low 500's in hp are my stock injectors - guess what is next on the list.

I would post the damn sheet if I knew how, but quite frankly the numbers don't mean as much to me as how my new L rocks.

Johnny, one of the performance specialists, took me out and demostrated what a controled foot on the throttle can pull out my L. I nearly wet the passenger seat - It was the biggest thrill, to date.

We had suspected that my second KB was not up to par, well on Saturday she came through with flying colors!

Dan- it was great meeting you on Saterday. Your truck really came" full circle" that day.I believe you and Pete both picked up the most power.I know you enjoyed the session, but did you have to keep coming back? Anyway, everyone said you were a great guy(until we knew you left) All kidding aside, we all wish you much sucess with you newly found power and hope to see you soon.- Mondo

I must say it was a great day seeing all those L's and the results - not to mention, great group of L owners!

I let her go once on the alley, entering on an on ramp and I thought I was going to go air born at the top of third. The power was incredible and it just seemed to build and build.

Lets get that fishing trip going!

I'm Just glad to witness the horespower orgy.

It was surprising to see a Florida event with more black L's than white!

Something doesn't sound right. You gained 85 HP & 55 TQ on a Mustang Dyno with just a tune? I think you got your truck on a Dynojet and it will post HP & TQ at about 13% greater than a Mustang Dyno.

My truck on the Mustang Dyno is 385/485. Now I am putting my Works 112 and am looking for 430/540 on the Mustang which will put me up there on the Dyno jet at close to 500/620. But I guess I will have to do a test on both Dyno's because everyone is caught up with numbers.

These #s were converted to mustang dyno #s...if you want dynojet #s than add 13% to all of our #s....Willie converted our #s for this reason..so in Dyno Jet #s that would put me at 678 hp and Dan at 565 hp....... Brand X chip when converted was the exact same hp as read on our previous mustang dyno....all of our old chips were given the first chance at HP #s....after that we let the tuning begin and yes everyone picked up HP, an average of 30 plus.....If you could just watch Willie the master tuner work, you would be in a state of "shock and Awe".....the man is phenomenal, tunes all over the country, is constantly in demand and for a reason.....and that reason is hes the best tuner anyone of us has ever met, PERIOD......I will give credit where credit is due....absolutely and positively.......

Thanks for answering this Pete, I don't have email at home do to a recent move and can only get to the sight at work.

Jewish Lightning - actually I am really looking forward to your Works install and dyno as a lot of L owners are.

Every tuner has their special approach and theory of how to best tune. This whole performance game seems to be an on going education for me.

Just finish the install on the Works 112. I will make a thread with the pics. I'll hit the dyno this week. Paul from REM has a file for the setup I have and I feel this thing is going to run strong.
