Well I went ahead and rotated the shim around. No vibration anymore. I tried to measure the pinion angle, but could not figure it out. IT was real easy from all the help you guys provided. IF there is no vibration should I be good to go???? Or shoud I still get the pinion angel measured.....

I dont understand why a front end alingment would be necessary..... have others done this>>????thanks for all the help
