Question Caliper Grinding for 15" front Bogarts.

How crazy do you need to go on grinding the calipers up front to get 15" Bogarts to fit>??? I think I am gonna step up and get a set so I am curious as to what I am getting into. Also what size tire are you all running up there>??? Thanks in advance. -Mat-

From what I have heard it is very minimal. I too need to get some 15" fronts. The cheapest place I have found is 300 each for the D10's. Maybe we can do a 2 person group purchase... I already have the Bogart rears with my slicks..

I've watched it get done a few times. Not that hard for the front. A litllte bit of a pain for the rear( I think you have to cut down the shield also)

You must be careful not to take to much off though. I mean we are dealing with the brakes here.

Hmm, guess it's time to call up Wilwood and see if they are interestd in designing us a Drag Racing Brake kit like they did for the late model SN-95 stangs. They could use my truck too This will give us quality brakes without grinding.

I already ground down the rears for the old style JDM 15X10 steel wheel, so I know what I am doing up front. I think it is a pretty big project out back with 15" Bogarts. I may say screw it and just run 16's out back. I know I want something lighter for up front though, that is for sure.

****, if anything develops make sure you let us know! Thanks, -Mat-

That pic. is of a D10 16X10 wheel. After I read that post from Sal about how much you have to grind the rear I said forget that. I too need to get my 20's off of the front and get a couple more Bogarts.
