Question Shackle Question

I currently have the Eibach 1" spring up front and the 2inch shackles in back. I have 20's, but there seems theres is still to much space in the back. So my Q is does anybody run the 3" shackle in the rear with the 1" spring in front and if so, how does it sit, and is there any probs with runnin a 3" shackle? Any pic would be appreciated with this set up. Thanks, Jeff

i have been runnig jlp 3" shackles, and the only way i see it is possible to dent your bed is if you bump it real hard during installation. no problems here. btw it is on an 03 L with stock front springs

Could you please explain how this is possible? The lower end of the shackle attaches to the frame. Therefore, there should be NO reletive movement between the shackle and bed. I agree with brain bypass...it must have been an installation 'oops'.

Just courious.

Jake...
