Someone has the sobig.f virus

Someone on a Lightning list seems to have the sobig.f virus as many users are getting the messages from it sent out. Everyone on this list should verify that that have updated antivirus and do a complete system scan immediately. I am getting 500 infected messages a day with Lightening and other high performance vendors in the from line. This is because the virus spoofs the from address from someones address list. It could be the list itself or the NLOC list. I have included links below to the Symantec (Norton) site with info on the virus and for the removal tool. The tool need to be run in "safe" mode. If you are not sure how to start in safe mode follow the instructions below.

Safe Mode (does not load any software other than minimal windows system files) therefore preventing printers, modems, etc and viruses to run. When you 1st start the system while the CMOS/Bios screen (white text on black background) is coming up press the "F8" key repeatedly and you will get a startup meny. Use the arrow keys to select "safe" mode. It will look funny as the screen will be low resolution, that is OK. Now yoiu can run the removal tool and clean the system.
