Bugatti claims this new super car will reach a speed of 252 mph. Acceleration is also impressive–the Veyron can reach 180 mph in just 14 seconds!

Seen the numbers on it. Rather inpressive. Looks good, too. BUT a $2 million price tag....... I'll take 2

the Veyron 16·4 is powered by a 1001-horsepower W16 quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter engine with all-wheel drive.
Bugatti has always made the car where you could not do anything to it, as interior, engine, and (to me, others seem divided) exterior are perfect. Price isn't so perfect for being paid by the hour (sadly no, not $10,000 an hour). Even above the Ferarri, the Bugatti would always be first on my dream car list. I don't care what you drive or what you have done to it, that Bugatti will rip it a new....... uh...... exhaust pipe.

I suspect the test driver returned to face a number of stern Germans who were not please at having the car pitched off into the dirt.

I guess with that much power
even 4WD aint gonna keep you on the road

Man that car is serious

As the Veyron exited turn eleven and the quad-turbos spooled up for the first blast down the straight, our photographer who was standing at the pit wall felt as if the air was being sucked out of him when the Veyron shot past.

YA BABY, THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT

I was there at Laguna Seca when they took those pictures! that car is tiny. It drove right by us in the pasddocks. I saw the Bugatti race! If I can get the picks off the camera, I'll post them. So what, I'll have to make a gallery, no?

The challenge of attracting attention during this packed automotive weekend even caused me to wonder if the on-track spin entering the Andretti Hairpin on the first lap was actually staged to create more drama. But I suspect the test driver returned to face a number of stern Germans who were not please at having the car pitched off into the dirt.
I was also there to witness the off road excursion. The driver continued to do laps and the announcer joked about how he was afraid to go back to the pits. Umm, maybe he wasn't joking. I fail to see the point of a car like that in this country with our ridiculous speed laws, but it might be fun on the autobahn. Hi po street cars are a waste, imo, if a person has a real Jones for speed they should get a Formula Mazda, or something, and tow it to the track with their Lightning. Then they won't be endangering bystanders or risking license loss and jail. Those of you who have driven on the track realize that after that driving on the street doesn't begin to cut it.
