Went to the dealership today to get a part for a job im doing and left without my lightning and drove home a 03 F250 6.0 supercab. Red in color and absolutly the best move I have ever made. This thing hauls a$$. Towing my cobra with the lightning was very hard on the truck and numerous blown enignes, plugs and transmissions had pushed me over the edge. Now i need to get me a JLP chip for it some bigger wheels and tires and im set. !!

I'm sure it'll give you piece of mind, it's a much better tow vehicle, AND WON'T spit motors and trannys like the L did I'm sure.

I almost traded the L and drove home in a Z06 yesterday, and still might ???
They got one Z06 left for $599.00 a month, w only $599.00 down.

 

They gave me almost 22k for my 01 with 33k hard hard miles on it. Bought the truck on a plan so it was really a no brainer.

That new 6.0 diesel is great. My old man has the 03 King Ranch 250 and I raced him from both a dead stop and a rolling start and he crushed my '01 Ext Cab 5.4 F-150 that I had at the time(wont hang with the new L though...). Those rigs amaze me-great choice.

 

we bought two of the new diesels for out work trucks and so far, one has been to the dealer 15 times to get recalibrated and one spit antifreeze through the exhaust. the new diesels are awefull i would have waited a little longer. i hope you got one of the ones made on a wednesday.

Damn! 600 a month with 600 down? How are the trade in's at that chevy dealership? If they are half of what my trucks worth I will drop every statement I've said about trucks and be roarin in a new Z06.

And yes, someone said you would be sorry when you loose to an L at a light. My question to him is:
Have you ever driven a vette?
I would miss the L. Preferabley I would have both.
600 a month? My paid by the hour, manual labor, ignored by them Koreans, *** could afford that.

Damn, that deal is too good. I'm having a seizure. Perhaps when it stops I will have a new Z06.
