Question 02 White Lightning

Ok guys i need some help.

I have an offer for a 02 white lightning with tinted windows, ford bug guard, toneau cover(sp), and ford bed liner. Now i am working with the GM of the dealership and he is trying to sell this truck to me for 32,810. Oh yeah its got 6k in miles. I think he is nuts. First of all i want the dark shadow grey they made in 03 and second of all i dont see how these supposed add on's are worth 2k. I told him that i can go get an 03 or 04 for 1k more. Just seems kinda high in price for an 02. It is brand new he said he was driving it as a demo and that is where the milage came from. Thought comments?
thanks
David

You aint getting no L on a X Plan "OR" a A Plan here in NY,
You guys are Lucky if they do that in your State.

David,
Thats too much money for that Whit L, don't buy it.

My Black 02 has 11,800 miles on it and I owe 24,042.00 as of last month. I'm thinking of selling mine, and have offered it for that exact price to a fellow board member here already.
BTW
and I got plenty of thousands in Mods that go with it.

If your in the NY Area and interested in a Black one,
All I want is the note paid off.

Find me another white 02 with 6k on it, for equal or less. You would be hard pressed to even find another white 02 period.

This will be the year/color combo to have for collectibilty.

But if you just want an L and could care less about things like that then find another one.

I went Z06 shopping yesterday, they got one left for $599.00 a month, with $599.00 down. Hard to resist 405 stock HP for that price. Unfortunatly I missed the Salesman I had to see by the time I got there, but I'll be talking to him first thing Monday Morning to see if we can cut a deal

BTW DAVE
The Kelley Blue book on mine is:
Trade in Value to a dealer
Engine: V8 5.4L Supercharged
Trans: Automatic
Drive: 2 Wheel Drive
Mileage: 11,800
Trade-In Value $25,650

Resale Value to the public
Private Party Value $28,390

I just called this morning and as of Aug 24th 03
I owe $23,710.30

with a per deim of $5.00 What the hell does that mean ???

Rob,

Sorry to tell you this but no car dealer uses KBB. In the northeast where you are they use Galves. Their web site is http://www.galves.com you can buy one day access for $19.95. I used them back in March when I traded my L. The going price for 02 L with 6000 miles on it was 25,500 to 26,500 at auction back then. I got 25,500 for mine at trade in. Good luck in whatever you do.

Thanks True Blue

They sure don't give them away here in NY either.
Like I said No X plans, No A plans, No D plans, NO NOTHING
List Plus in most cases on any SVT Vehicle here in NY.

"IF" I could get the Z06 for "THAT" deal
Then I would, if not, it's really no biggie.

After all, I do drive the worlds fastest truck,
and mine runs 12.0's
I can deal with that a while more
