Thanks all for the response's. A friend said that after 6000 miles they might have to sell that as used? does anyone know if this is true?

Yes a Dealer can drive it up to 5000 miles (as long as it's never registered) and still sell it as Brand New.
I thought it was 5k, but maybe it is 6

There is one on ebay right now.. brand new from a dealer for 28, xxx call up the selling dealer and see if they can get you a white one or a grey one.. I know in 2002 there are just a little under 300 white trucks made, but that is meaningless since white was made from 99 on up, it was not a one run thing like the blue colors.... but that is just something to think about doing.

its 5,000 here in Texas... I work at a Ford dealer and we are allowed 5K miles on our demos.. We have a red demo with 5K on it for sale on the lot. Owner gets a new L every year as a demo...
