'01's wife here........... or Extreme4x4 from SilveradoSS.com.

Come on now MNC5, play nice with the kiddies.

I knew the second I saw you post that it was you. You baited them with a lack of information.......... then did a little bashing.

Your Silverado SS is as much a Silverado SS as a NASCAR Monte Carlo is a Monte Carlo. Well, maybe a bit more......... but not much. You have a nice Extra Cab Silverado with monocromatic paint and a hotrod engine.

Now, go find a hobby.......... like knitting.......... and leave the kiddies be. Play nice now.

See ya on that other site.

For the faithful here, I frequent many sites from many manufacturers. I guess I am a knowledge junkie. Most of the guys on SilveradoSS.com are pretty nice. It just really looks like MN was REAL bored.

Ok, so some of u like the SS cause it has the extra space, why not get the harley davision edition f-150, extra space, 4 real opening doors, awsome interior, and about the same price, only difference is that the harely will blow the doors of the SS.

Wow. I honestly am surprised that someone with enough intelligence and skill to turn an SS into a fast truck is immature enough to waste his time starting a flamewar on an online message board. Grow up buddy

the 93 chevy SS was quicker AND faster than the first generation lightning..

top speed:
Chevy SS- 120
Ford L- 110

0-100:
Chevy SS- 22.5 sec.
Ford L- 25.7 sec.

misc data:
chevy SS- 255hp (454)
ford L- 240hp (351)

the ford had better braking and skidpad ratings than the chevy.

just thought you would like to know..

...the SS has a lot more going for it. Inside and out its better built and thought out.. If the new style L comes out that may change things

Ever in Ga, let me know. Guarantee you won't keep up with my stock L. Be funny to watch you try though.

I am bored too or something...

Nice truck. GREAT mods! You probably have way too much $$ in it , but oh well, we are all junkies after all.

Your truck is stealth dude, a real sleeper.

Post some ET #'S, So we can put this one to rest! (win or lose)

I am assuming you went through the tranny, rearend, tires, etc.. so this thing will hook.

Wink

MN,
Nice SS you have there, I just bought the Denali pickup so you know I am not Ford biass. I think every car manufacture has something in their stable that I would love to own.
I am curious though, what does you SS run? I would like to get the Denali down into the 14's and I would be happy with it there. I bought it for a daily driver and for a tow vehicle, so 14's would be fine for it.
Oh, and stay out of trouble over here or we will have to line up your SS against my Lightning and have some fun.
Bill
