I was considering the V-1 every one seems to like so much. Problem is..most Tampa area police / sheriffs use laser... I dont trust a detector for that... on the hwy they work great though.

I've been driving in Tampa for over 20years, and never had a ticket yet, or been pulled over.

Now that i got a L , i better watch out! It's so tempting to go fast, and the sound of that super charger even makes me wanna go faster.

It's so easy to get over 60mph before ya even know it, with these L's!

Chas

And if you dont like traffic enforcement, slow the hell down bud.

Being a cop is a brotherhood. Sort of like owning a lightning...

Being a cop is like being a politician. You scratch my back I'll scratch yours and you never have to worry about going to jail.

I got pulled over about a week ago going 67 in a 55 -the cop let me off with a warning and said "nice truck" as he walked back to his bike. I was pleasantly shocked.

He said nothing about the illegal window tint or no front license plate.

Used to be a cop years ago and still know quite a few

In Georgia the rule of thumb is they have to give you 5mph over when issuing authority is not the same as the one benefitting from fine. Ex. State Patrol enforcement with fine going to county. They have to give you 10 over if issuing & benefiting authority the same. They may not have "quotas" for writing tickets, but they are expected to write so many a month. So if they're behind near the end of the month, You're screwed unless you're a good looking woman! Traffic fines a major source of income, especially in these times of declining tax revenues. Remember the infamous speed trap towns that live almost entirely off fines? Think cops care about reducing accidents, crime, DUI's--naah! If all the former went down substantially, so would their personnel rosters, budgets, and all their paramilitary toys--not to mention power & influence!

We have an unmarked Subaru WRX STi around my neck of the woods. If theres one think I like to watch it's when evryone starts on the COP = BAD rampage. I think I'll just watch.

It was a lamborghini. They still have it, it's used for PR events and stuff, confiscated from a drug dealer.

Around here there are a bunch of undercover cars, I've seen undercover navigators, and even a riced-out altima!
