having trouble with plugs

Question having trouble with plugs

Is anyone else here having trouble with sparkplugs? i keep melting the ends off of them. im not sure what the problem or the fix is. so if anyone has any ideas id really appreciate it.

your running lean and your lucky that you've only friend the spark plugs so far.......lets hope.



edit.......or you might have the wrong plugs...

with your mods i would recomend NGK TR6's

Or to be even safer, NGK BR7EFs which is what I've been running for 30k with my 5 lb pulley.

You have a bad program. Your stock plugs are good for the mods you are running.

Are you runing stock plugs?? Your "mod list" suggests so.

Get those platinum plugs out of there STAT and install some TR-6s. (I've got a set I'll sell you cheap).

ive been running tr6 for the past year and they just dont last in my truck.

One of the friends fried 7 of the 8 spark plugs REAL BAD. They were the correct heat range and everything.
We had his a/f tested a few weeks ago and it's insanely LEAN!

If you have the right plugs, or even close to right as I don't think 1 heat range hotter would cause this to happen this often, I would suggest a chip reburn.
