Hey fellas,

I just measured my 28x14.5x16 QTPs and the width was a 12.0 inches. What's up with that and what are the 11.5 and 10 inch width measurements???

 

i belive the 14.5 is taken from widest point to widest point so measure from sidewall buldge to sidewall buldge, to see if im right
but i think on the 10 in slick it is 9.5 in tread there my buddy's and i remember measuring them at 10" sidewall to sidewall but there at the shop so i will doubble check tomorrow,

 

Thanks, please do check. Why would anyone spend extra $$ to get only 2inches of tread, when claimed 4.5 inches more.

 

yep tread 9.5 and sidewall to sidewall 10.5

 

I had a set of the 9.5 QTP's and they were only 8" so I went to a regular 10" hoosier and they ARE 10 "

 

Right from the Hoosier website it states the TREAD width on a 14.5 is 12" inches
