Right now I miss my 02 Stang gt....best i have gotten so far....i know its damn hot and humid this summer.......was a 14.13@97.93 with a spinning 2.14 60ft...it was about 89-91 degrees and like 70% humidity...100% bone stock with 18lbs of air int he rears..best pass of the day.......just this pass weekend......even worse weather..like 90 degrees with 85% humidity..maybe higher...best pass was a 14.24@96.75 with a 2.13 60ft and it only spun ever so slightly........i know heat kills these things..but damn not even 98mph on a pass......my Bone stock 02 gt 5spd went 14.1@99 with almost a full tank....my system...and my big *** driving it on a 97 degree day, I dont know.....im going to wait for cooler weather...and if it doesnt get any better....im not even going to bother with doing any mods.

High 90s low 100s 13.8 is a believable time. Don't forget there's first & second generation, & early 2nd generation were slower, the HD some have 3.55 rear end some have 373, different size or brand tires can pick up a couple .01. between 99 lightning 02-03 HD & lightning can all be within 1 second of each other bone stock. Also there's variables (tolerances) when things are built on an assembly line. The closer you get to the original blueprint specs usually the better some things being out a lil but within tolerance might actually make it faster or slower. Or if a car had a problem so they grabbed it & the inspectors & engineers went through it to fix it. That's why some vehicles with the same exact options can very greatly in speed. Altitude, humidity, temperature, Trac condition all matter. You won't get an exact time or go & say it's fact! Everyone can be different.
GLC, he’s new to reality, trying to provide positive influence is useless on that one
