The Swede--- please respond!

Hey was just wondering where you got your rims and how much they were... I am having a lot of trouble tracking them down just to get an idea of price...

How did the handling / ride change once you put them on?

Sweet wheels man

hey brad!

i believe his wheels are VERY expensive. also, i think that they are unavailable in the US and to have them shipped here would be A LOT of $$.

i agree that they are badass wheels, but there was a thread a while back that he wwas explaining how much $$ they were.

hope that helps.

Nope. Not there.

I called BBS of NA. They had no idea whose wheels The Swede's are (of course, they ARE BBS, but just shows you how clueless BBS USA is on the subject).

I contacted Delta 4X4, the German company who sells the wheels. They told me to call BBS NA. Great.

I then contacted OCL Brussons (sp?), the Swedish distributor for the wheels. Not made to fit an F150.

The Swede apparently used adapters. But these wheels would be well North of $4,000 by the time you got them in your hands.

I would rather spend $6,000 on some custom forged HREs.

$4-6K could wisely invested in a shortblock or a new blower. Why on earth would you blow $6K on a set of wheels?

Call the shop that does all his work/tuning. They can get the wheels for you.

You can link to the shop's page from his page.

I don't remember the cost, but they told me they could get them to me....however, I later opted for the bling look.

Or a custom setup from Fikse.

Odds are good the Swede was able to purchase the BBSs and then had them welded and redrilled to fit the Lightning. Not an unheard of thing to do when somebody absolutely has to have a specific wheel that doesn't fit their vehicle.

Another option would be machining the hubs to fit whatever bolt pattern the BBSs had and then pressing in new wheel-studs.
