Exclamation Cant Hook Up

Need some suggestions guys. Just installed my 6lb pulley, have cold air induction with a superchip but I can not hook up for anything! Whats my best fix for this and what will make the biggest improvements between traction bars or lowering it or putting weight over the back wheels. I got my *** handed to me the other night by one of our Lightning buddies in his new Trans Am. I lifted off 3 times all the way through 2nd gear trying to get traction and by the time I finally hooked he had 2-3 car lenths on me. Coouldnt run him down before the end although I was catching him. Please help, this was pretty embarrasing knowing that there is no way that car should have ever out run my truck.

Some Hoosiers and some bars will take care of that.

My hat's off to anyone that can hook with F1s. I can't.

Get some ET Streets or Hoosiers along with some traction bars and a driveshaft loop. With these, I still can't hook every time but it's a whole lot easier with them.

Now the reason I posted this was to get some from different ideas because you said your traction bars didnt make all that big of a difference, especially for the cost. I hate spend 200-300 dollars for something im not going to be happy with. Anyway, not that this is really a descent excuse but for those reading this was a TA with an LT 1 in it......it does help my feelings, a little. BUT I STILL SHOULD HAVE HANDED HIS *** TO HIM!!!!
OH yeah, my trucks at the gym every afternoon. Its on a pretty tuff training split right now!!! Gotta catch all these people that can hook up!!!!!!!

Traction Bars (Truck Traks), Slicks (Hoosiers) and most important a nice 'slick warm up' (line lock kit) finally did the trick for us.
