Best Lightning mod yet

Took aprox 5 hours to semi-complete.

Making the logo diagram = 1.5 hours.
Drilling 300 1/16th" holes = 2 bits, 5 beers, 3 hours with dremel.
Side panel fan intake = 10 minutes.
Top of case Blow hole = 10 minutes.

Heres a quick sneak peak of whats done. Please note I have new white led fans comming for the side and top plus I have better/white lighting to go inside the computer case, in place the the much dimmer blue thats in now.

I'll update the progress once I install the other items to finnish this mod off

Very impressive fellas. I love that Lightning logo with the blue backlighting. I used to build my own systems when I was younger, but I just don't have the time anymore so I splurged a little and bought an alienware. Definately an incredible piece of equiptment.

Dont make me break out the watercooled setup of mine

Looks good, Lian Li case? We need to talk about your wiring mess though bro. Ever head over to www.hardocp.com and checked out their case modding forum?

I had everything all neat and pretty and then lightning toasted my motherboard so I got re zip strip everything and fix it all back. Plus I am bout to buy watercooling system and rounded cables. Water and electricity is always a good combination.

that looks cool, thinking about doing that to the computer IN my truck ....and no its not just a computer case in the floorboard. had to make a custom center console to fit it in but it needs something extra....like whats on your case....nice work!

Ive been running 4 Way Opterons for over a year for AMD. We are their #1 test house. Nice fast systems... However the present choice of MB's do suck for the enthusiast market.

Barton 2500+ oc'd to 3200+ with ease just about any mb out there. DFI LAN Party Board is a kickass board for anyone looking for a ****load of options and power.
