do computers really get that hot on the inside that water cooling is neccassary?

It is overkill to be honest, and for bragging rights. I mean how many people do you know with water cooled computer system. Just hope it doesn't spring a leak.

mines is actually watercooled with a remote rad box, and underneath the waterjacket is a large electricity sucking peltier. that sumbish gets cold enough to form plenty of ice. its great for system stability when overclocking the shnit out of something. ive seen people do crazier things
