A New(old) Truck in the JDM Stables (pics)

Readers of MM&FF will recognize this beauty.

Jim and a gentlemen named Ralph built this F-150 in 1996 to show FoMoCo what he thought the Gen 2 L should look like.

-There is many innnovations here. It has a 5.4 4 valve motor w/ a vortech S/C on it.(HMMM... Gen2 Ls havea S/C on it)
-Side exiting exhaust (HMMM>>>Looks familiar)
-The fuel cell is moved (custom made aluminum)
-Side rails were smoothed and painted
-It has a Expedition center console (remember this truck was done in 96-97)
- The front bumper hole was filled in.(again, looks familiar)
-Gen 1 rear axle

There is a lot of custom work done to this L.

The guy that owned it is starting another project so Jim bought the truck. It is getting new wheels and tires and other updated pieces.
If I am not mistaken , this truck has gone high 10s.

I know its not an L , Just thought you guys would like to see.

Now I did not talk to Jim at lengths about this truck so if some of guys that have been around a while and know the truck then you can chime in.

Heres a couple pics

front bumper opening filled and a cowl hood.

1 of the first (if not first 5.4 4 valve

Very Sweet truck

Jim and a gentlemen named Ralph built this F-150 in 1996 to show FoMoCo what he thought the Gen 2 L should look like.
Ford already knew what the GenII was going to look/perform like way before this truck was built and Jim had nothing to do with it.

Just ask John C.
