There is this hood i saw that incorporates gauges in the back of

the cowl. I love this hood and was wondering if anyone could

post some pictures of it and tell me were i could go about getting

it.

That is that pro glass hood. I think they only made a limited number of them. They were very cool looking though.

THIS hood? lol. Took these at the recent SVTOA IRP event. Not mine, but a NICE lookin hood.

The one I posted was the last of the breed I was told. He got it direct from Terry as we are right down the road. Number 13. The guy said Terry said he made 13 and he had 1 left, so this guy grabbed it and had Terry paint it for him. 13 is still super lowwww production numbers though. Awesome hood.

REM had 10, but it appears Terry kept 3.

then someone should tell REM... cause REM was under the impression that ONLY 10 were made and thats what Tim told me...

You mean to tell me there are 13 hoods instead of 10!!!! Oh hell no! Thats false advertising! Pro Glass duped us! I'm sure nobody would have bought the hoods if they knew there was 13 instead of only 10! We should sue them! I'm talking class action here folks! This grave injustice should not go unpunished!!!!!

I am going to e-mail Pro Glass Corporate and I will keep you updated on the situation....

Let me put it this way, this guy did NOT get it from REM.

I didn't mean to spoil anything for anybody. 13, 10 who really cares. Do you guys who have em no longer like them cause there are 3 more out there? *****, one of them is on Terry's truck, so that leaves 12 left. 1 went to this guy, 10 went to REM, so that only leaves 1 that is unaccounted for.

Dont tell me the main selling point on these hoods for you guys was the exclusivity (which at 13 there still is).

I realize there is a little bit of sarcasm, but still.

Again, sorry if I caused a stir, maybe shoulda kept my mouth shut.

well it sure wasnt the craftsmanship... If this hood took ANYMORE work to make look "ok" to match the body lines and the wiper cowl, I could have made it myself about as quick So yea, being only 10 made it less of a sore spot...

 

Surely you are kidding?? I have never seen better quality peices than what Terry has put out. I have one of his hoods and his craftsmanship is excellent as far as I am concerned. You sir are the first person ever to complain about one of Terry's hoods.

Looks great, but can you read the gauge, or am I just getting too old?
