well its not my pleasure to be the first complaint... the hood keeps having new things happen... its fully painted, on both sides, and guess what... the fiber glass is slowly swelling... I know have a spot on the left side of my hood that looks darn near like where a bolt is trying to come through... and its NO WHERE even close to where the bolts are that happen to hold the hood to the hinges... I have tried to just ignore the little things wrong with the hood... just every day I seem to notice something new that sucks... but guess what, I already paid my money... so now I have to ride the ride... oh well... I would never call this hood first quality... just limited... and thats really the only thing I like about it anymore.. the plain fact im not likely to see another one around...

on a good note though.. truck looks great with the hood... FROM 50 feet... where you cant see all the little fugups in it...

Im 50% happy and 40% tired of dealing with the hood, and 10% annoyed with it... dont get me started on cutting out the little screens and trying to figure out a nice way to mount them (they are still not mounted to this day) why... becouse the place that would normally hold the screens on both sides are not large enough to bond or even screw too for that matter... im not sure how I will resolve that issue.

Like I said, sorry to be the one to be somewhat unhappy with the hood...

Im sure Terry has done a great job on the other hoods, just this one should have been done a little more careful..

you can see the top most portion of the guages, if you took off your wipers, you could see them in almost full view...

The only problem i had was the second bolt hole for the hinge was screwed up, almost causing a cross thread when bolting it down. I fixed that the other day by chasing the thread.

I have no quality issues. Im just try to get the front of the hood to come up some since it is scratching the grill surround. If anyone has ideas on how to bring the front up, it would be appreciate. BTW, adjusting the rubber hood stops cause the hood not to close if i raise them up to high.

Other then that, the hood is first rate and looks pretty damn sweet. I have #9

Madness,
if you're really unhappy with the hood, I'm sure I could take it off your hands for a certain price.
