Do Not Buy Zex Nitrous

well i know im gonna really screw over my favorite vendor here, but i have to vent. i ordered a zex kit bottomline to make a short long story short, the nitrous feed line had a whole in for whatever reason. talked to a guy named joey said to overnight it wouldnt be a problem dont worry about it, as soon as i get ill overnight it back. well called today and apparently talked to a guy who is a real *****, said that he is the owner and the manager which is bullhsit, there is no way the zex owner takes customer calls. anyways i expect it to be overnighted well he tells me, that it will not be overnighted and that he will send it back after he feels like it and that it will be ground. i told him so hes gonna send it back when he feels like it after it should have been right to begin with and he said yea basically. he quote "we have tons of customers so pleasing one isnt a concern"
just wanted to let everyone know not to deal with zex because they are just a$$holes.
not trying to screw the vendors over here, i know i am, but maybe this will get there attention.

Write a letter to them addressed to customer relations, as well as send emails. Chances are it wasn't the owner who told you that, and perhaps it will catch the eye of someone who will show it to the owner. COuldn't hurt anyways.

Yeah, i hope you got his name, because whoever owns that company wants that a$$hole canned. If theres one thing worse than having crappy employees its not knowing about it.

I was selling Zex and had contact with them on a fairly regular basis and had nothing but great professionalism from all that I talked and dealed with. This is very disapointing I hope not things to come from Zex.

ill use this as an example my first vb wouldnt shift too hard, called gregg e at about 5 my time, gregg wouldnt even let me explain, he said shut up and give me an address, the damndest thing happened, next morning i woke up to a brand new valve body without even sending him the first. customer service 101 that zex hasnt learned.

Very sorry you had a problem. I have installed many of these kits with problems. I hate to hear someone having problems and then not getting a resolution.

Whast you should do is call the company and demand to speak to upper mgt, then tell them what that dude said to you. Hell, im sure you will get some freebs out of it if you send them a link to each forum you trash them on.

Wow, that's a first for us. I wish you would have called us and let us try to resolve that problem for you, but that certainly is no excuse for someone to abuse their position.

We will call Comp Cams (owners of Zex) and find out why this happened and, hopefully, keep it from ever happening again.

Tim/Paul i didnt want to call you because you guys have gone over and beyond what you should do for me. You guys have been just absolutely awesome and i didnt want to bother you with something so petty.
Guys i owe everyone an apology, this thread discredits all of the vendors and tuners that sell zex nitrous. they make an awesome product but this guy was an absolute *** about it. Paul Tim know that im a little picky but im not a hard guy to deal with.
I Want to publicly apologize to all of the vendors for this thread, this should be directed at the ******* that told me this, not the product they sell. i am sorry.

Eaton it's ok to be pissed, and you have a good reason.
But lets hope to find out it's a employee with a attitude problem that needs to get canned, and not Zex talking like that.
I had no issues with my install or continued use of the product. But if I did since I bought mine from REM, I would have let them fix the problem. Remember, they already have a connection with Zex and a relationship.

I HOPE THIS IS FIXED QUICKLY
GOOD LUCK BRO

BTW
It does suck when you have a great Product
but a$$holes to deal with when there's a problem

"ARE YOU LISTENING FORD"

your exactly right rob, like i say an apology to the title of this thread. after finding out the hose was damaged, i didnt want to call rem and be picky even more than i already am. i figured the number is right on the bottle ill just call zex. this joey guy that i talked to was out an out nice, this matt guy is a looser after what he told me. im the most passive guy in the world, and i do tons of business with people a day. i looked at the shipping charges and this is what blows my mind. it cost me 9.90 to air frieght that hose, i looked what it would cost a resident in there zip to air freight it back guess what it was 9.90, it was only 6 dollars or something to do it ground. so for three dollars this guy made me feel like a real piece of hsit and that i wasnt a valuable customer.
the funny thing is one of my freinds is thinking about getting a system, and i to be honest will recomend the zex kit, but i am just at a loss of words. i was in my dads office on speakerphone when this happened, his jaw dropped after that conversation "we have tons of customers so pleasing one isnt a concern"
i think that is just a real offensive remark to say.
on a good note, they do have an awesome looking kit and it was a pleasure to install.

Eaton, the way I look at it, you did nothing wrong but demand satisfaction.....whether or not the dude at Zex was having a bad day is not your concern.....You are not the guilty party by no means....If Tim or Paul want to handle it, Id let them, due to the fact that a Zex representative or owner will pay closer attention to what he says to a dealer rather than to a private party individuals like us....Good Luck...
