Sport Truck Shootout 2003

This has been held for a few years now. It is a fun event held at Beech Bend raceway in Bowling Green Kentucky. It is sponsered by the chevy 454ss club and they invite all trucks.
It will take place Saturday August 2nd at 12-4:00 pm.

Currently there are over 20 chevy 454ss's planning on going and it looks as if there are only 2 Fords...Who else is going?

I have permission to go to both as it stands right now. I can go to the sport shootout and then make the trip to Bristol early Sunday morning and do the Sunday bracket race or not go to Bristol at all. They won't let me make more than one pass in Bristol...
I went to Sport truck Shootout in 2001 and it was a lot of fun. I prepaid last year for the Shootout and decided to go to Bristol instead. I should have went to the Shootout it was more fun than sitting around watching people race. Besides there was a 10 second syclone there last year. Who knows what will be there this year.
